Overview
The St Andrew’s Cathedral School’s Foundations seeks to anticipate and meet the funding needs of St Andrew’s Cathedral School and Gawura School, both now and in the future, beyond what is provided by school fees and government grants.
The Foundation actively manages a portfolio of investments and undertakes fundraising for specific purposes including:

- Gawura Scholarship Fund – raises the money to pay for the education of all Gawura students and First Nations’ secondary students on Gawura scholarship at St Andrew’s Cathedral School.

- St Andrew’s Cathedral School Building Fund – provides an important source of funding for capital projects. It plays a pivotal role in maintaining and improving school facilities.

- Heath Bursary Fund – This fund offers short-term fee relief to families of St Andrew’s Cathedral School. Families who have been affected by tragic events such as serious illness, life-altering accidents, bereavements or other circumstances that severely disrupt family life.

- Choristers and Creative Arts and Performing Arts Fund – as a school we have a deep commitment to supporting cultural and artistic expression. This fund allows our work with the Choristers, Creative Arts and Performing Arts to continue and to thrive.
To achieve this, the Foundation actively involves the wider St Andrew’s Cathedral School community in a variety of initiatives and events including annual Giving Days, Trivia nights, Gala dinners and cocktail evenings. The generosity of the wider community benefits the students at St Andrew’s Cathedral School and Gawura significantly and is greatly appreciated by both schools.
